Patong's best nearby snorkeling site. This reef has a diverse array of fish over a large reef area.
The beach at Paradise Reef is great for snorkeling, relaxing, and soaking up some sun. The swimming is ok here, but the bottom is all reef and rubble. Be careful not to step on any coral while snorkeling as the area is in recovery from the tsunami. It is best to visit this Phuket snorkeling site during high tide to give you as much clearance as possible while snorkeling over the coral. Once you get out where it is a little bit deeper this is a spectacular reef to snorkel.
This Phuket Snorkeling site is located on Patong Beach's South=West shore. Paradise Reef is 3.9 km from the ramp at the South end of Patong Beach.
