Why Discover Scuba Diving?
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program allows you to experience the thrill of scuba diving in Phuket Thailand while under the supervision of a PADI Professional in pool or pool-like conditions. During your adventure, you'll learn some basic diving concepts and scuba skills and you might even decide to head off to experience an open water adventure diving in Phuket Thailand.

What will I do?
During the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program you will get to experience the thrills that only scuba diving in Phuket Thailand can offer. You will have access to an environment that contains thousands of animals that you have probably never seen before and the feeling of being weightless!
How long will it take?
ALOHA Phuket Diver's PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is designed to get you in the water as quickly as possible on scuba. Typically the dive course takes 1 full day to complete. We will spend some time in a pool or confined water getting comfortable and going over some very important safety considerations before heading off for a fun and exciting dive right here in Phuket Thailand.

From the moment you begin the PADI Discover Scuba Diving expereince you are earning credit towards earning the worlds most recognized certification the PADI Open Water Diver certification. Many of the skills that you will learn during the PADI Discover Scuba Diving course are the same skills used during the PADI Open Water Diver Course. Ask you Instructor how you can learn and apply these skills today and be one step closer to becoming a certified diver!
The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the world's most recognized diving certification. Once you become a certified PADI Open Water Diver your certification is good for life! By joining ALOHA Phuket-Diver's Open Water Diver course in Phuket Thailand you will get the best training possible. At ALOHA Phuket-Diver we limit our class sizes, so you are able to get more individual attention. During your PADI Open Water course you will learn the knowledge and skills you'll need to safely explore the underwater world here in Thailand and around the world. Once you have completed the course you will be awarded your own PADI Open Water Diver Certification Card, your ticket to a world of adventure!
Your Confined Water Training will be held in a local Phuket pool, after your 5 confined water sessions you will be able to discover diving in Phuket's underwater world right away during your 4 Open Water Dives. You will spend some time in our classroom before heading off to do some skill development in the pool, but before you know it - you'll be in the ocean exploring your new playground!
Everything you need to complete the course is included in our course fees.
Why PADI Open Water?
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver, check with your instructor to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program.
What do I need to start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available.
o A PADI Jr Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 12 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.
What will I do?
Throughout the course, you'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment, techniques, and environmental awareness. You earn the PADI Open Water Diver certification by completing 5 confined water dives, 4 open water dives, knowledge development sessions, and a final multiple choice exam.
How long will it take?
Usually 3 to 4 days. PADI programs are performance based, you must be able to complete all required skills before you can proceed / be certified.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course gives Open Water Divers the opportunity to enhance their diving skills and open up new underwater adventures. Divers can choose from a range of Adventure dives to give them expereince in the areas that they are most interesteed in. Once you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three more Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Why Advanced Open Water Diver?
After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

o PADI Open Water Diver certification (or a qualifying certification from another organization )
o Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
What will I do?
This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following:
o Boat Diver
o Drift Diver

PADI Advanced Open Water Divers at least 15 years of age can enroll in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver Specialty courses and continue on to the PADI Rescue Diver or PADI Junior Rescue Diver course.
Why PADI Rescue Diver?
PADI's Rescue Diver Course is one of the most fulfilling courses that you can take. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Becoming a certified PADI Rescue Diver will make you a more confident diver and you'll have fun learning through doing. Our PADI Rescue Diver Course is very intensive. We aim to make the most out of your rescue training by making our scenerios as realistic as possible, while also being as safe as possible. You must demonstrate mastery of all performance requirements before certification will be issued.
What do I need to start?
o You can enroll in the Rescue Diver Course as a certified Open Water Diver and participate in the Rescue Diver knowledge development and rescue training sessions, in confined water only, while working on your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Advanced Open Water Divers need only complete the Emergency First Response Course or similar within the past 24 months.
o Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)
o Successful completion of the Emergency First Responder Course or similar within the past 24 months.
What will I do?
The Rescue Diver Course will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the five open water sessions, you'll cover:
o Self-rescue and diver stress
o AED and emergency oxygen delivery systems
o dive first aid
o swimming and non-swimming rescue techniques
o emergency management and equipment
o panicked diver response
o underwater problems
o missing diver procedures
o surfacing the unconscious diver

This certification denotes that you've reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI System of diver education. PADI Master Scuba Diver indicates you have a significant amount of training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

How much more time can I be underwater?
For example, if you dive to15 metres/50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on EANx36 gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time - an increase of 140 minutes! It's perfect for underwater photographers, wreck divers, and anyone who wants to stay down longer.
What do I need to start?
All you need is your open water diver certification. (You must be 15 years of age or older).
What will I do?
You will learn preparation, safety, and diving procedures involved with enriched air diving.
How soon can I be diving on enriched air?
Minimum Open Water Training: two dives over one day
What will I need?
You need the PADI Enriched Air Manual, an Enriched Air 32 percent Dive Table, Enriched Air 36 percent Dive Table and Equivalent Air Depth/Oxygen Exposure Table. (all included)
Where can I go from here?
You can apply this Specialty course towards your Master Scuba Diver certification. The PADI Enriched Air Diver certification is also a requirement if you want to go deeper and explore technical diving.
The PADI Enriched Air Diver course will keep you where you want to be - underwater.
Take the first step in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. The PADI Divemaster course expands the problem solving skills developed by the Rescue Diver program, and extends it from accident management and prevention scenarios to supervisory situations with student divers and certified divers. At the divemaster level, problem solving emphasises looking for many possible solutions under the circumstances and choosing the best of several. Divemaster problem solving may include more than safety-related issues. You will also learn how to handle customer service, business, and operational challenges.

o Work at local dive centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations
o Assist PADI Instructors with students
